BUS SERVICE

Public bus transport is available to and from school at Emmaus. 

Students will be required to use a Myki card to travel by bus.

Emmaus students travelling by bus after school are supervised by teaching staff and walked to Damascus where they are supported to board the relevant bus home.

Bus Travel Considerations

• After school travel arrangements for children who travelled on the bus or walking bus on a regular basis in 2019 will continue as scheduled in 2020. If you need to make a permanent change to your child’s regular after school travel arrangements, please complete the new eForm on Skoolbag App titled “Bus Travel – Permanent Change”. Please note you will need to complete a form for each child and each bus they travel on.

• A reminder that if your child/ren’s travel arrangements change, please either fill out the appropriate form on Skoolbag App - either “Not on Bus (Regular Traveller)” or “On Bus (Occasional Travel)” or call the office before 2.00 pm. This will give the Admin Team enough time to update the lists accordingly.

• Any new or existing families who would like their child to travel after school by bus or join a walking bus to Damascus or Jones Avenue on a regular basis can complete the Skoolbag App eForm “New After School Travel Arrangement - Regular Traveller” or call the Admin Team for further details.

• Any student not on the transport lists will be unable to travel unless parents have notified the office either via Skoolbag App or by telephone.
